WB goes from being “one of the most effective” instruments against crime to being “essential” – this is overstretched (see also 017, in the proposal)] In addition, whistleblowers not only suffer great professional and personal costs, but also the possibility of civil or criminal prosecution under treason and defamation laws, for instance.
